Rare Drop is a multi-faceted company with expertise in Media, Marketing, Merchandising, Branding, Design, Entertainment, and Events. Since we broke into the market in 2016, we’ve grown into a brand that is dedicated to delivering quality experiences.
Whether it’s providing a top tier event through our annual Gaming Community Expo, raising millions for local and national charities, or delivering quality entertainment to our viewers through our podcasts and live shows, you can expect nothing less than excellence when engaging and working with us.
Tim Havlock, Darkness429, has been creating content for nearly a decade. In 2018, Tim became one of the original members of the Facebook Gaming Creator Pilot Program focusing on Video Game Live Streaming. His success in the space within the past 2+ years has led to an increase in followers from 200K to over 800K and helped pave the way for other creators to enter the Facebook Gaming Partner Program. During his move to Facebook Gaming, Tim simultaneously joined the Rare Drop Team as the CTO. With his guidance and oversight, the Rare Drop online experience from websites to app development has flourished and his community has been an integral part in the fundraising efforts for the GCX Charity Marathon and Live Event.

Ben integrates his knowledge of the space from practical experience as a content creator to turn any activation into something that fits the tone of the moment as well as the charity.

Merchandise and gaming goes hand-in-hand. Never satisfied with our merchandise opportunities for Rare Drop, GCX, Darkness429, or Professor Broman, we branched out in search of a merchandise solution to fit our needs in the gaming industry: enter High Score Tees.
High Score Tees is a merchandise solution specifically for the gaming industry. They’re a team of gamers, streamers, entertainers, artists, and lovers of Merch! High Score Tees is the one stop solution for streamers to have professional merchandise designed for their communities, and a platform to sell their merch and support their channels.
In 2017, Rare Drop partnered with colleagues on Long Island, NY to start Kings Coast Coffee Company. With a mission to deliver freshly roasted ethically sourced coffee, Kings Coast sources, roasts, packages, and ships roasted coffee right to your door.
Operating specifically online the first year, the Rare Drop owners leveraged their influence and reach within the gaming community to promote the company. As the brand has grown into other markets outside of gaming, the team has been able to expand the brand into local Whole Foods within the NY footprint, open a tasting room, create a partnered affiliate program with Content Creators, and create a quality subscription program for return customers.
Formerly known as GuardianCon, Gaming Community Expo has become Florida’s Premier Gaming Event hosting over 10,000 attendees in Orlando, FL. It boasts some of the top names in the gaming industry as vendors, partners, attendees, panelists, and more. Plus, it’s the only vacation focused gaming event. Join us live on June 11 – 12, 2022 as we take our event back to Rosen Shingle Creek.
Our favorite part of GCX is the GCX Charity Marathon. Since 2016, the gaming community’s charitable fundraising efforts through our GCX Charity Marathon have raised over $15,000,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
